Synchrony/Chevron Visa CLI

decided to log into chat today just for the heck of it and request a CLI on my Chevron Visa account. First time I requested $3000 more to give me a total credit line of $6000. It was approved in about 30 seconds. Since I didnt receive a counter offer I know I was leaving money on the table so about five minutes later I logged back in and requested another CLI through chat. This time I asked for $5000 more and they counter offered with another $3000 CLI. So now I have a limit of $9000. $6000 is 5 minutes is not to bad on a Tuesday. I'LL TAKE IT!!

Nice!

My first CLI took me from 1200 to 2400 with them (requested 4000)

My second took me from 2400 to 6000 (requested 10K)

What was your TU FICO 8 at the time?

I'm thinking I've got a much better shot at it right now since mine is 725 vs. sub-700 on my 2400->6000 request.

Mine is 725 currently and I was just denied for a CLI request. I requested $10,000 from $6000 and was denied, no counter-offer.

I also chatted with Synchrony Tuesday about my Chevron Visa. It started out at $1200 4 months ago. I asked for increase to $4K or $5K and they put me at $5K. Maybe I should have asked for $10K.

Call CS and ask for 10k you might get it.
