Walmart MasterCard cli to $30K!

I've been trying to get my Walmart Mastercard from $25K to $30K for a while. I always get declined. My BofA Visa reported its new limit of $30K on TU today, so, I thought I'd give Walmart MC another try.

Approved for a cli to $30K.

I called a Credit Solutions back door number. I called (877)379-8175. I always call this number or (877)379-8173. I've had successes and failures at both numbers. IMHO, these are the best numbers to call for cli's for Walmart MC, Paypal MC or most other Synchrony cards.

I should also mention that this card started out with a credit limit of $500. It was 3 months before Synchrony would give me a cli. It took over a year to get it up to $25K and 6 more months to get it up to $30K.

My Walmart MC is currently at 25k and I always do the same as you and call the back door numbers. I may see if I can get them to boost mine to 30k. Of course I really don't need that much, I think it's mainly just the challenge of getting it there. Mine started out as a 400 Walmart Discover card back in late 2013.

May I ask what kind of salary you're working with and what is your dedt to income percentage ratio?

I have no debts.

I got my Paypal MC and Walmart MC (at that time Discover) in Feb 2014. The Paypal MC got to 25K much faster. The Walmart MC seems to have stricter underwriting. IIRC, it took almost a year to get the Paypal MC from 25K to 30K. Walmart MC has been at 25K for about 6 months. I had almost given up on the possibility of My Walmart MC ever getting to 25K. So, 30K is quite a pleasant surprise.

I think that what really helped get the Walmart MC to 30K was when my BofA Cash Rewards Visa reported a cli of 30K to Transunion. I requested the Walmart cli 1 day after BofA reported. That did the trick.
