BBVA NBA ???

So I applied about 2 weeks ago, no decline, no approval, today on my phone got something from BBVA compass NBA for a "new real time rewards redemptions with BBVA wallet, it says Rewards Just Got Real, redeem your rewards in the real time with BBVA wallet.

Would I get this sent to my email if I wasn't approved? I called the number, they wouldn't confirm if I was approved or denied.

What do you think???

nothing in spam folder, I just don't know why they would send me the wallet email to be able to store my rewards if I wasn't approved.

Hard to say, but I would wait until you receive an official email from BBVA with the congratulations message, if approved. The BBVA CSRs will be cryptic on any details surrounding the status of an application but hopefully you'll hear good news sooner than later!

I got that email too this morning but I was instantly approved when I applied though. Could be a good sign but it's hard to tell until you receive the letter. Hopefully it's approved! good luck

When you get the card be sure to check it with an online transaction first before trying to use it out in the world.

I've read the terms for this card and it stated that Amex will get 1% while BBVA get 2% of the swipes. If that is the case, does both companies have to approved for the card? Or the approval is solely BBVA and Amex is just getting 1% kickback for allowing BBVA to use their network?

Insight?

Im in too! With a Ch7 BK too! Applied dec30, approved via email yesterday. Im not in a rush so ill wait for the card to see what CL is. Ive read the horror stories of them closing accts so im wishing myself luck lol.

Congrats! I applied a few days ago and got the 7-10 day message. I checked the credit pull database and learned they pull EX and there are people getting approved with EX scores in my neighborhood. I'm hopefull, but not optimistic.
