Cabelas approvals -Update

After having seen all the Cabelas approvals the last few months, looked at the approval scores on myFico and Credit Pulls Database, and decided to take a chance. Have too many TU INQs and my EX Fico Score 3 has been slow to rebound, so I needed something that pulled EQ. The AA on Comenity lately was enough to scare me away from them. Was somewhat shocked when the online application finished and it went to the credit terms page and it said congratulations. Don't know the starting limit, but it did say that it pulled EQ FICO Bankcard Score 8 as it was the same score from my most recent update yesterday. This is my 3rd unsecured bank card, so I'm making progress a little at a time. Closed out Comenity J Jill after the approval as they were stingy with CLIs.

Called in today. SL is $1000.

Congrats!! Call CS they will tell you the limit. I was approved last week 8k EQ was 742.

kaykay65. Huge Congrats on your Cabelas approval. I was able to call in to get my CL. They resisted at first to give my CL but I mentioned that I wanted to do some shopping and needed to know my limit. They put me on hold for a minute and came back with my CL. I have a JJill card since August and it's discouraging to hear you said that their CLI were stingy. After the craziness with Comenity, I find myself identifying their cards that I'm going to close, As I acquire new cards or get CLI, I will begin to close Comenity accounts. I don't trust them now. Thanks Rosey. I got one increase from J Jill my 7th month for $300. I like their stuff, but $800 doesn't go very far. I said that if I got approved for a VISA/MC it would be the first card to go. I guess they didn't like my profile or something cause I was always buying something from them, but using DC to pay for it, so the card was useless. I will try to call in first thing Monday morning to find out my limit. Overstock seems to be another one that I'm stuck at the same limit, so it maybe next. As long as Comenity still like me Talbots and JCrew will stay.
