Barclay Cashforward approved. .. woohoo

I broke down and applied for cashforward.
I put in $4000 in bt on the app and was approved for $4300. Thats really tight.
Can I transfer some of My LL Bean cl over to cashforward ? Or maybe I can call in to try for higher limit? Need some help from those Barclays experts out there.

Edit:

Just called Barclays and was able to get my Cashforward cl raised to $10000.

They only gave me the option of moving my LL Bean cl over, so I lowered my Bean to 2300 and moved the rest onto Cashforward to make an even 10000. Which was OK with me,since I'd never use that much of my Bean cl.

Congratulations on your Barclays approval. If your profile supports it, you can contact the Barclay's UW folks to see if they can CLI your recent approval. Otherwise, if it's a no-go, ask them to see if they can reallocate some CL from your LL Bean to CashForward. Should be good either way!

Sure, anytime. Lots of folks with great experience doing this. Just FYI, you don't have to have the card on hand to request the CLI or reallocation. If you feel comfortable calling them today, then this way you know for sure. However, if you prefer to wait until the card arrives, then that's perfectly fine as well. It just depends on whether you're in the "I want to know pronto" camp or the "nah, it can wait until the thing shows up"

Either way, I hope it's a great outcome. Maybe you won't have to reallocate from your LL Bean card.

I dont mind waiting. Be nice if I didnt have to allocate.
Only have one more transfer I'd like to make and would like a little room on the card. If I can get it to 10000 that would be awesome.
Either way I'm happy to have 3 of 4 cc balances tolled into one.

Congrats and yes barclaycard will let you allocate CL. You might want to do that because your score will take a hit temporarily due to a new IQ and you are very close to your CL on this new card. It's a sweet looking card/rewards. Enjoy!

Definitely not an ugly card. Does look good
Will definitely have to get them to do something with cl, got it way to close to my bt amount. A maxed out card won't do. Thx Tntexans72

I applyed as well last week(Like I really need another credit card like a hole in the head lol)I was approved for $10K,This is my 7th barclays card,Stubid me went to there site and noticed a new miles and more card(better deal if you fly) so i wished i would have applyed for that first,After the 1st of the year barclays will be offering the new jet blue card as well

There definitely trying to be competitive in the US market.
If I was given your cl sandman I wouldn't even have to call them, it would've worked well with what I wanted.

Yes you can move some of your LL Bean CL over to the new card.

Thx credit magic,with those bt I done, it would've maxed my new card. Had to get that taken care of. Score would have taken a big hit. For awhile at least.
