Walmart CLI through Chat!

Got my Walmart card with a SL of $900 about 2 months ago, second statement to cut next week. Decided it couldn't hurt to try chat for an increase...Asked for $5000 and was countered for $3,500. I'll take it!!

Congrats! I started with $500 limit, went to $700 after 3 months and used the chat feature today for about 3 minutes and went from a $700 limit to $5K! My 6th statement will cut later this month. I don't use the card every month and I don't alway PIF. I told them I ws going to do some Christmas shopping and they asked me if $5K was enough. It's more than I expected!

I am beginning to believe they are all a bunch of strange creatures, I chatted with them just 2 days ago and asked for 1500 increase, didnt want nor need too much. Came back and said sorry cant do that at this time, no counter or anytthing. Closed chat window and immediateltly hit luv button and wham! 2000 increase. Leads me to believe, trying to figure out why or when they give CLI's is mindboggling.

Have paid in full 5 billing cycles, at $500 limit. Called and asked for $5000. Was told I would be granted $0. May close this.

That's rough! Can you advise on any of your FICO details? Score, utilization, baddies, etc? Has your score improved since you originally applied?

score up 50 points to 630 range since applied. a couple old baddies from medical bills, utilization around 30% across board for my $10k in credit lines.

I'm having issue with the chat button as well...the place it should be, it isn't. Right on Account Summary page underneath the "Check your FICO" picture. It's obviously normal working hours right now (1:20pm), but it's just a blank space.

And I have tried on three separate browsers just in case (Chrome/Firefox/IE), and no bueno. Any ideas?

Same here! I'll keep looking for it over time. I sent them a note via the Contact Us link. I'll prob just call in few days if I don't hear anything.

Winner!! Chat function appeared today. Total chat took less than 5 minutes and got CLI to $3,500 from $600. Requested $5k. Thanks for the help all!
