Comenity bank doing bad or something?

So I applied for Amex, Citi double cash, Chase Sapphire, Barclays Arrival, BJs Mastercard.

I was approved for all except BJS mastercard by Comenity lol. I applied for them first so it cant be because of inquiries (6 on report) , my fico score is 770 and my debt ratio is 15%, so I just cant wait to get their letter in the mail explaining this one.

I'm pretty sure it's a verification! My last app spree for my Fiancée.. I got the good 'ol 7-10 day message after the 3rd app in a span of a few days. Turns out it was just a verification.

My DW app'd for the TR Visa with similar results. 7-10 day message, still no letter. Has to be verification given her profile. She would have been approved for *something* I'm sure (694 FICO 8, 4 inq, 12% util).

Congrats on the approvals that have come through! For the BJ's app what message did you get upon submitting? When I apped for BJ's I got a 10 business day like below and it simply ended up being verification and was approved after calling the number in the letter and answering a couple questions. It ended up being my biggest Comenity approval received but they ended up AA'ing all of my accounts for too many INQ's but I'm not going to get off track on that. If it looks like the screenshot below it's probably verification.

Yes thats the 10 day message I got. Thats what im thinking it has to be a verification because im wracking my brain trying to figure out what else it can be and it has to be that.

I think you'll be good to go once you get your letter and call in and verify.

I received the 10 day message for my overstock application...i'm curious to what that means, instead of the 7-10 day message.

Something weird is going on with Comenity.... some changes in the air for sure.

I have two cards with them that I opened that cannot get an increase. My scores are in the 600s and even after 6 months of having the Ann Taylor card open I cant get it to move past $250. There is a possibility they are becomming inquiry sensative for increases... cause I have a bunch. In May, the basically stopped giving me any kind of increases ever. I have very very little balances with them and buy items periodically to stay active.. who knows.

I know this thread is a little old, but I have wondered the same. Comedity will not give me cli even though my lowest store card with other companies are at least 3500 to 5000 where as my overstock is stuck at 900 and Victoria secret is a puny 350.00. Really considering closing them.

6 months is stretching it from what I've seen with them, but I do know they can use the same pull for a rather long time. I used the luv button and got a denial back in Oct 2014 and the letter I received stated the score they used was pulled in May. 2 months later it moved from $250 > $1250 in $200 increments. Hasn't budged since.
