BofA 123 Cash Rewards CLI 6K>10K.

Hi everyone! This card started as secured 6 months ago. Initial deposit was 3K. I requested early graduation at 5 months, and also given CLI from 3K>6K. No hard pull for early graduation, or initial CLI. Last night, I requested a CLI online for 10K. Got 7-10 day message. Called BD number this morning, and was told the request was a decline due to serious delinquency. They were referring to my 2012 BK. The reason I was declined for unsecured initially, and offered the secured card. Lol. The CA asked if I'd like a reconsideration. She said she would call back in a few days with a decison, as it needed to be reviewed by upper mgmt. I called right back and tried my luck again, and told the same thing. I called back yet again later in the day, was put on hold, then told my new CL has been approved for 10K! I may have been lucky, but it doesn't hurt to call a few times. YMMV!

Forgot to mention! I was able to get the AF permanently removed, and upgraded to Visa Sig at graduation. APR was lowered to 17.99% a few weeks ago.

Congratz! I just kicked BOA to the curb, after a year of dealing with a paultry 500 sl, graduation at 9 months, requested a cli and was told there was no way they could go over 500. I have BCE 10.5k QS 16k freeedom 5k local CU 7.5k, etc so told them what they could do with their card. TU 08 708. Glad you have had a pleasnt experience with them!

Sorry to hear about your experience! That doesn't sound typical of BofA. Did you use the card much?

Wow..that is horrible of them to treat you that way I would have done the same.

You did extremely well!

First to get it graduated at just 5 months with you requesting it, and only a SP is a major break. Also getting a CLI to double the secured, another great one, and still no HP? And then another CLI to 10k? You did well! And the AF waived too!

I need you as my BoA agent! I got an auto graduation of my 99/500 at six months with no CLI and I am happy. If I had you as my agent and you got similar for me, I would be ecstatic.
