Interesting BB&T Bright Approval

I've had a BB&T Bright Visa for the last 20 months, mainly because it hits my buttons of low APR and 00% intro for 12 months. The card I have is at 11.15% and it's a no rewards card similar to my low APR DCU Visa. Anyway, starting CL was $2500 and I have not used it since the 00% intro expired so I contacted BB&T customer support by email asking for a usable credit limit - their answer was stop by a branch, strange but okay....

Last week I stopped by a BB&T and talked to a loan officer/banker and requrested a credit limit of $10,000 on my card. This is where it gets a bit strange - the local office said I can increase your credit limit to $5500 or if you want lets just apply for a new card - I went huh? With a new card we'll request $10k and you'll get 15 months at 00% APR and then 11.15%. If you've seen any of my posts, I'm a big fan of cash sign up money and 00% APR's so I said sure go for it - approved $10,000 and 00% for 15 months.

Yes they did a HP, but I don't care I've got lots of those and even if I didn't "using" a HP for a positive result is what they are for IMO.
