Holy Moly! PRG and Platinum approved same HP!

Approved for the AmEx PRG card yesterday. Made a call today so see if I could also apply for the Platinum card with same HP and they did it and approved me! Now I kind of wish I waited a year to see if they would offer me an upgrade and waive the AF on the platinum the first year. Oh well. I want the travel perks with the Platinum card.

Congrats! But no bonus on the Plat? That's a shame. No way I would apply without a comparable bonus as they're once per lifetime.

I'm kind of regretting my decision. I really didn't think they would use the same HP. Got caught up in the excitement when they said approved!

Leaving $1000 bonus on the table would sting me as well, especially with a $400 AF.
