Barclays CLI AAdvantage Aviator

After reading a lot of members getting an APR reduction , I decided to call them. I called the number on the back of the card and I was transferred to a different department.

I told her if there was any offers for an APR reduction, she said yes.... and then I accepted ! Then she said I had multiples offfers on my account, ( Mmmm ?) I said go ahead I would like to hear them. I accept the offer If I spend $500 in the first three months, I will get 5K miles point which I accepted. Then she said that I have a pre-approved CLI ( Oh, really?) I told her that I did not want a HP, she said: I am not even going to pull the report via SP because it is already appear this offer on your account... so I accepted the to a CLI to $11,000 ! I was not expecting this because I openned several accounts after this one. Let see how this works !

Congrats Mia! The Barclay's APR game is fun has worked for me 2 or 3 different times! I would suggest every 6 months on each barclays accounts. If you have another account I certainly would try that account as well!

CC , this is the first time I requested an APR reduction with Barclays hoping I will get a CLI which It happened. I also have Barclays Ring which is sitting at 10K for 17 months now.

We need to strike while that iron is Hot and it must be sizzlin lately.

I am almost tempted (just for kicks) to call in and ask Barclays if i can have my Ring Card apr lowered

If they actually did that on a 3 month new card like this i think i would pass out from fright

LOL, thats a good one CM, I will not call for the Ring at all I do not think it will go lower than 8%......but,,,, who knows

Very nice MIA...well done ... I had a similar experience with Barclays when I called to simply move CL around my cards and the the rep offered me APR reduction on the Arrival and CLIs on Arrival and Sallie Mae. ... many might call me crazy but Barclays is my favorite lender
