I applied today for the American Express Spg card and was approved. The starting limit is for 1k, I was hoping for a higher limit. The ladie said they will do CL increases.

I wasn't sure I would get approved but since I'm a vacation owner with SPG it helped.

Time to Garden for the next 4 months at least while other inquires drop off. Hoping to get a house in the spring of 2016.

Love my Amex SPG. Got a pleasant surprise from them just last night. Got an email for auto CLI within an hour after I almost maxed out on my CL.

I would also suggest requesting a cli upon activation. I was approved for 1k and was able to get it to 2 k at activation. Not a huge difference but will make a difference if I qualify for a 3x in 6 months
