Amex BCP Approval! Yippee! And BOA AAA Rewards!

My EX score shot up to 680 yesterday. The card I wanted showed up in Amex's pre-qualified offers today. Though I had committed to gardening until the end of April, I could not help myself. I felt like I'd be throwing money away, earning a measly 2% cash back on groceries when I could be getting 6%. SL is $5K.

Edited to add: I decided to go for the next one on my list, the Bank of America AAA Rewards Visa. Got approved with a SL of $2500. That's a little bit low for a card I'll be using for travel expenses (at 3X points), but I can live with it.

Bwhahaa i hate it when people say they are gardening till xx date. Apply for credit whenver you want, when you dont feel like it, dont. Not rocket science.

But good on you for getting that card. I might get one when I feel like it.

Don't fret the BofA limit too much. Put some history on it and in roughly 4-6 months (preferably the latter for good measure) that limit will grow substantially higher than you might believe. Yes they are that good in my experience with BofA CLI's and do very well for you for the HP.

Thanks for the info! This is my first card with BofA, so I didn't know what to expect. I consider myself lucky to be approved considering they denied me for a secured card in 2014.
