Approved $500 for Paypal Smart Connect :(( HP!

so while on the site i was reading up on paypal. kept on seeing that it was an SP when applying so i tried. was approved $500 but was hit with an HP. hate it. but oh well. can you guys give me some more details on smart connect.. like how the payments, aar etc work? thanks

Congrats. Works like any other line of credit. I've had my account a little over a year. Not exactly sure what you're asking? You can run a balnce or PIF. They report to the bureas. Anything else?

well i didnt have all the details on it from last night. but found out apr is a little high which is fine, wont use it too much but im glad it does report to the credit bureas. i read online that paypal didnt report, so i was a little bummed to get an hp and not even report. thanks for the info

i didnt expect an hp after not even putting in my SS #. oh well. its an approved HP cant complain about that lol thanks

There are 2 Paypal lines of Credit

1) Paypal Smart Connect Through Synchrony Reports to the bureau. If you have a paypal debit card, you can link it to your smart connect and then just use the debit card anywhere MC is accepted. Thus by doing this, your paypal smart connect would function like any other credit card. (just make sure you use it as a credit card, do not select debit). This is what I do. Also I have read that you can request a CLI after the 4th statement cut. I am waiting next month to see if I can get a CLI.

2) Paypal Credit Throuch Commenity. It just ust a line of credit and can only use it where paypal is accepted. Does not report to the bureaus. That's as just as I know about this line of credit as I don't have it.
