AMEX 3X CLI finally approved!!!!

This is about my third attempt at my 2nd 3X CLI on this card. The big difference is that I'm using it now for all our groceries and my son just turned 16 and started using his AU card for gas. I'm assuming the usage plus PIF did the trick because that's all that's really changed in the past 90 days.

Result = APPROVED!! 6k ----> 18k

Congrats on a very nice increase! My next amex 3x is coming up next month although I don't think I can even do like 1.5x or 2x as my exposure with them is pretty massive around 48k between my cards with them.. Don't think I will push it

I'll be trying to take Hilton from 2k to 6k in another 90 days. The problem with that card is that the limit is so low I never use it. If I happen to need to stay at a Hilton I do, but otherwise it sits in the SD. All I can do is try and see what happens I guess.

Thats my problem mine is only 2k atm.. Although my ED hits 13 months in about 10 days so will be moving 6k of my limits from ED to Hilton to make it useable. Then the question comes into play whether I try to jack my ED back up to 26k where it is now before donating 6k to my Hilton or ask for a CLI to 10k on my hilton once it is at 8k from donating from my ED.. Or none of the above.. Ya a 1k or 2k CL on a card isn't useable for me and thus it is SD'ed most of the time until I was able to move CL's which I will be able to do shortly

congrats on the approval!!! is it 90 days from the day you get approved or the day you activate the card

When you get your card you can request it.. Although some useage might help for better odds if denied then one must wait 90 days prior to trying again
