I had a moment of weakness...I have been looking at an Amex charge for a while and I just applied for the Green and was instantly approved! Luckily this is definitely the end of my apps until the Chase sapphire which I can't get until my CLs go up. Going to the garden and burying myself up to my neck in dirt!

My scores are all in the 670-700 range AAoA is less than a year, perfect history. I just call the app status number and talked to a rep about expediting the card, she said they can't do it after its been approved...and I wanted to PC my Blue to a BCE and she said I'd have to fill out another app, what is the best number for me to call about these things?...because I know they are both possible.

As i said earlier..card is not here yet.....when it arrives ,i will start using it ....,if i dont feel in a year..i will PC to BCE

Nuturing your credit score so it grows. Not applying for new credit or other hard pulls. Just focusing on making payments on time.

Oh I see. I kind of figured that but I just needed clarification. I guess that's what I'm going to do now too since I just applied for a Blue Cash Everyday on Saturday. Happy to be approved for a $8000 limit. Can you call Amex to see what credit bureau they pulled from and what your score was?

What other cards do you have? Any baddies? Other limits? Income?

RavenNation; American express should send you a letter in the mail indicating the bureau and score used. They usually pull experian and your score must be.great; because they are known to be chopsticks with their limits. Congrats to all the new amex cardmembers! Welcome to the amex family!
