...I've been lurking on this bloody board since I've gotten really serious about my credit rebuilding. Unfortunately, I didn't find this board before I went on a app spree after 3 glasses of wine, during a 4 day weekend during Thanksgiving but I digress.

On to Capital One. I received both the Platinum and the Rewards cards back in early Decemeber, I make at least 2 payments a month on both as I try to use them pretty regularly since both SL were $300. I've been reading about everyone receiving CLI even before the 5 month credit steps were completed. I was getting pretty antsy and just figured that I would try my luck. I tried with my Amazon, Walmart, Kohls, I mean I've gotten shot down left and right. ...that was until today.... $500 increases on both cards and this is with 2 statement cuts. I think they like to see steady payments more than the minimum.

Those going through the program, definitely pay more than the minimum or pay it off and after two month hit that love button.

...back to my lurking of everyone's posts and more importantly, back to the Garden.

I just got a $500 CLI on my Cap1 Platinum today as well. 6 days before fourth statement cuts
