Howdy folks.

Saw the "Credit Limit Increase" button show up yesterday on my $10k Cash Rewards Visa siggy.

Remember hearing about asking for more with BofA, and they will always counter.

Entered $25k, and hit Submit.

Unfortunately, it was not an instant and went to manual review. Thought, aww shucks, it will probably get denied due to inquiries.

Logged in today, card was at $20k.

So, $10k increase for a hard pull on TransUnion. Not bad, not bad.

Congrats on the CLI - very nice increase and I agree, well worth the HP.

Is having the "credit limit increase" button pop up on the account summary,

not a normal thing? Does having that button appear indicate that BofA is more

open to granting a CLI.

Mine has been on forever on 2 different credit card accounts.

Just wondering.

@twiddledee -- Last time I had the button, I requested (from $5k to $10k), and the button disappeared. That was a few months ago.

Today is came back. So, I am not sure if it is a meaningful thing or not.

Congrats - nice increase. In case you have a 2nd BofA card call and do a CLI on that account at the same time with the same pull
