Fifth Third Stand Up To Cancer Surprise Approval

I applied over the phone about 2 weeks ago as the online system was not pulling security questions correctly and was not processing apps but still taking HP's. It went into pending and I assumed denied... Today I am going through mail and open up a TU credit score disclosure letter from Fifth Third stating the cost of credit and they pulled 717... I was like WAIT, WHAT!... and started flipping through the rest of my mail when sure enough on the bottom is a thick Fifth Third envelope and I open it up and rip the credit card off the paper to reveal $9500 freaking dollars!!!!

My partner was only approved for $5k a few months back and he had a 790ish score... I'm just shocked!!

Congrats! I was approved for this recently, still haven't received the card. TU 04 752, approved for 5000 at 16.24.

Grats! So they use a TU Fico 04 version. What is the score needed for Fifth Third and are they inquiry and new account sensitive? Also are they derog friendly?

I'm in IL and all 3 of my 5/3 cards have used TU 04. They can pull EQ too based on area. They are not too derogatorys friendly and people have been turned down with bankruptcies reporting.
They are not inquiry sensitive in my experience.

I was denied back in November for sufficient credit exposure with them. Glad they changed their mind!
