Boy o Boy..Gotta love GE!!

Gotta Say that GE is one of the BEST lenders out there! I been reading on here all the threads of how generous is GE is being right now, so im sitting around kinda bored and decide "what the heck" lemme give it a shot. I dd not think i had a real chance since i only opened my Wal-mart card 8/19 barely 3months ago but i called U/W anyway. Much to my Suprise they upp'd my limit to a solid 5k!! YES!! lol. The U/W rep didnt question anything, just wanted the usual info. This makes my 2nd card thats 5k or higher. Just 4 months ago, i was thinkin it would literally take me FOREVER to break the 5k barrier but thanks to these boards, it happened ALOT quicker!

My limit before the CLI was $1,500. weird thing was, when i called in the rep said it was $1,700. I havent checked it since last months statement cut, so im guessing that they gave me an Auto-CLI from 1500 to 1700 and i just didnt know it lol. It apparently didnt matter because the rep didnt even mention it. just straight from 1700 to 5k. Pretty good IMO.

nice. I recently got a nice bump from them. Went from 1.8k to 5.4k. After refi in June I'll ask them to bump to 10k. Grats again on your CLI.

Sweet! WIth 2 5k limits now the higher CL approvals and CLI will keep rolling in if desired.

Those 4 month CLIs were something to look forward to but a brief chat with a U/W can yield a couple years worth with one call.

I love GECRB too!!! They opened the door $5k limits for me and more recently, opened the $10k limit range for me!!!! Other lenders really do consider other limits!!!! Congrats!!!:-)
