Surprise Approval Chase Marriott Rewards $7,000

I logged in to the Chase website to check my Freedom account today and to my surprise there was a new account listed! I was approved for the Marriott Rewards card with a SL of $7,000. No email, phone call, or letter like past approvals. Sure they pulled EQ 646. Looks like inquiry number 50 was a lucky one. I wanted to stop applying long before this, but I have trouble not applying sometimes. And the approvals keep on coming which doesn't help. Still excited about the approval.

Congrats! I got approved also for $9K the other night. Pulled EQ also, which I really wanted . I love Chase

Makes me want to app but I am scared. I heard they rarely offer CLI so what you get at SL is what you get. Maybe when my score is 750's I will apply:/ Everyone been pulling EX which makes me upset. I hope when I apply they pull my EQ as well.

I think with your EQ score on your sig you'll get approved. You'll never know when you try it . Chase pulled EQ for my Marriott and EX on my Disney Premier.

Archange1 - Obviously its more than scores that determine approval and limits but FYI I was approved for Marriott last month with 18K limit and scores in the 700 - 710 range.

ya, that is my goal as well. I think it is based off your other card limits and your AAoA. Of course utilization and Salary is considered too but the former I think is the most important.
