Amazon Store Card and Chase Freedom

I use Amazon all the time and I got approved for an Amex BCE last night very unexpectedly so I figured I'd apply for an Amazon Store Card too to get the 5% cash back on Amazon. Instant approval for $1000. I am so blown away!!! I don't care about high limit cards, I'm just happy to have these cards that I'm going to be earning cash back on.

I also applied for the Chase Freedom which has been one of my goal cards and it wasn't an instantaneous denial. They said they are reviewing my application, which will probably end up being a denial. But it's still better than it has been in the past. And in the mean time, I'm getting 5% cash back at Amazon, 3% on groceries (BCE) and all my Discover it cash back categories! I'm so EXCITED!!!

The automated status line says "we are reviewing your application and will notify you within 7-10 business days". So what does that mean on the scale? Probably the worst of the 3, right?

It's not the best sign but I've also seen those turn positive

Chase app may be in Verifications, which if it is, all they will do is ask you to provide some information and verify a code sent to your cell phone, and you're approved!

Well I called app recon and it was a denial because I have open collections. That sucks but it's to be expected. I've decided that I'm fine with what I have. I just wanted Freedom for the rotating categories anyway so it isn;t a huge deal since I have Discover it and it chrome, Amex BCE (approved Tuesday), and Quicksilvers.
