Marvel Mastercard [Synchrony] [5/17 Update]

Hello MyFico!

I was browsing the internet and came across the Marvel Mastercard - I figured, what the hell, why not apply?

Instant approval for a $3,000 CL - this is now my highest CL

Looks like the card was released today

I've come a long way in my rebuild since last May and it's largely in part to this website! Much thanks to everyone! (Even if you don't remember that we've interacted )

3% CB on dining and select entertainment and on Marvel merch, 1% on everything else.

4/13 Update: I called Credit Solutions this morning and was able to increase the CL to $7,000

5/17 Update: See my post from today - Synchrony Bank reported a $46 balance before my statement cut

I doubt if I will be approved since my credit score is not that good.

But this card definitely looks so cool!!!

The g33k in me is having a tough time saying no to applying for this card.

@somegeek I was going through the same inner-geek struggle for about 2 hours until I finally applied. FWIW I live in CA and they pulled TU, my highest score and the bureau with the least INQ.

Question for those with Synchrony cards, I don't want to sound greedy, but should I call in tomorrow to see if they'll increase my CL?

I am really a Marvel fan.... But I don't think I can get approved with a 635ish FICO score.

Right now have two CapOne cards at $1000, Apple Rewards card at $2000 and Citi Double Cash Card at $1000. Just decided to be in garden for a while...

Hope they can offer this card for a while....
