BEST CREDIT DAY I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!!! LIMIT INCREASES GALORE =)

Today is without a doubt the best day I have EVER had for Credit Limit Increases (3 were automatic)

So in November and December I used my Barclays Cards (NFL Extra Points and Barclay Rewards) like there was no tomorrow. I put 4200.00 on the NFL XP and several thousand on the Barclays Rewards. Paid them in full a few weeks back. Well come to find out I got a SOFT CLI ON BOTH!!!!!

Barclays XP Visa went from 5k to 10k (5k increase)

Barclays Rewards went from 3k to 7.5k (4.5k increase)

So then we move to the U.S. Bank Secured card which I put 3,000 dollars on years and years ago. I keep the card open because it is my oldest trade line but RARELY USE IT (once or twice a year). Today I get a letter with a CHECK FOR 3,000.00. THEY FINALLY GRADUATED THE CARD ANDDDDDDD the new tradeline is 5k (2k increase + 3,000.00 back in my pocket) I never even requested it be graduated recently. I think it has been 2 years since I requested card graduation and it was denied. Finally, they did it on their own.

So I am feeling high on the hog. I decide to call paypal which has haunted me with a pathetic CL for years. I get a real nice guy who seems like he wants to help. I explain I use the card alot and my CL has not budged from 600 dollars since I have had the acct. I told him I have used it heavily over the last 2 years and I feel like a CLI is in order. He says he will process it and.................NEW CREDIT LINE 5K (4.4k increase)

The rest are as follows (ALL LOVE BUTTON INCREASES)

Walmart 1800.00 increase

Belk 500.00 increase

JC Penney 1000.00 increase

and Capital One QS 1400.00 increase

NEARLY 21K in CLI's in one day. I can't even express how flippin' thrilled I am!!!!

Congrats on the CLIs but please ease up on the use of all caps. I know you're excited but all caps is considered shouting and when you use it a lot in your post, it makes it more difficult to read.

Is there a rule against all caps?

IS THERE A RULE AGAINST CAPS?

Just not seeing how me typing a few words in all caps is an issue. If it is I would certainly appreciate the number to call and cancel my subscription. I don't feel at all comfortable with paying 29.95 a month to be criticized because of how I like to type.

must not be to hard to read as it has changed this discussion from 21k in cli to a discussion on caps.

I just noticed the loan contract for my house is in all caps. Until 1984 it was pretty common for things to be in all caps. I highly doubt by my post that anyone thinks I was being rude. As for the title........yes, I was screaming with excitement

At any rate, I personally find all caps easier to read. Maybe it's all the comic books I have read. They always use all caps

Great CLIs!

Very nice, my comparison is - I got a 500 auto CLI from Cap1 - after they sent me a letter offering the CLI if I made 6 payments of 125 or more to take care of the balance of 525 that I had in June. I know, no comparison

I dont see a problem with the amount of caps used in the OPs post. If it had been done in all Caps that would be considered shouting and it really isnt necessary to shout. Use of caps to accentuate a certain point of ones post is fine. Today was a good day for you OP, enjoy
