A few (confusing) Comenity approvals!

Hello MyFico community!

Oh how I wish someone could explain Comenity's lending/underwriting policies! I do understand that every store has different criteria, I really do--I apped over the weekend for West Elm and got approved for (sniff sniff) $250 (denied 6 months ago, so happy that at least it wasn't another denial) then apped for Restoration Hardware (closed my eyes as it pended fully expecting a denial on this one) and APPROVED for $4k?!! WHAT?!!

Either way, I will take it! I am looking to refurnish my apartment, and was looking for special financing to do so, so RH will definitely provide what I need. I am VERY excited to be in with them and know that from what I've learned on these boards, that both cards will grow! I just can't wrap my head around such a huge difference between the two limits!

call the automated system for both of them and ask robo lady for cli and no particular amount.

And Creditaddict and Creditmagic7, I really appreciate the suggestion and push to contact the robolady! I've only tried the luv button in the past, never to any avail. Today I'm very happy to report the following increases:

RH: $4k -- $4.8k

OS- $500 -- $700

West Elm $250--$1080 (happy dance!)

and finally finally got my VS to move from $250 to $450!!!! despite it being Tax Day and a Monday, today has been awesome! Thanks so much, all, for the great advice and help along the way in my rebuild!!! I have learned so much!

You can typically use the automated Robo lady every statement and repeat your process if she says yes and it might give more. Overstock is just inclusively though and vs is every 4 statements but RH and those will give a couple probably
