Well after posting my success with BofA yesterday. CC advised since i was getting mailers i should go for the Fnbo Amex as well since they were bugging me and my Gold Spade is now gone. I took his advice and apped for the Amex from them. No clue what my limit is But it did say approved. Anyway to find out? Thanks for the info Fico Fam. That is it for me and Credit cards for sure.

You made a good choice. I've had mine for 2 years and have gone from $3.5 up to $10K with SP CLI's--although my scores aren't stellar. And I acquired a business CC wtih them back in September. Great bank--a lot better than Synchrony IMO. I've had my Wal-Mart MC the same amount of time and they still refuse to budge off of my $2K CL--it's been SD'd for almost a year.

Sheesh I've been getting and trashing their mailer for several weeks (same offer for their Amex card). You guys are making me want to accept LOL.

Glad to hear Taxi of your approval. Assume one could call or is their an online status application website it might say? Glad it worked out for you and hopefully you get a good apr and limit. As others stated they do SP CLI's which is a plus

Isn't it just a 1% card? Or have they revamped it? Everytime I get the mailer, it's just some 1% card with 3 year expiration of points.

Of course, maybe you just want it for the limit etc, and that's cool too - just never saw the rewards as being appealing.

Did not see any online status or place to check. Only message is you will get card 7-10 days with message above.

Hopefully someone else will pipe in here with best way to get limit from FNBO as dont have any of their cards.. Assume you can call CSR, but might be a better way?

I just got a mailer from them and it says it's a 1.5% cash back card

Not always, Mine is a 2% gas and groceries so they vary

From a computer the FNBO website has an app status at top of page. Enter a few pieces of info and it will tell you your limit. Did this for my AMEX and wife's Visa.

Congrats on your approval but did you really need a card only for limit? If you're utilization is low then idk why you'd do another card for that? And, keep in mind that just because you leave the garden doesn't mean that you should just go apping again. That kind of erases your whole goal of gardening. Don't give in to peer pressure (especially for cards that serve little to no purpose)
All you did was create a new inquiry and AAoA ding.

Yes. For limit. I'm traveling in 6 weeks to Asia and want a buffer. Inquiry's no problem. Down to 7 ex. 2 tu and 3 eq. No effect on score. Usage at about 20%. Want to keep it that way too. When I think. I've not applied for a card since September. That was my ebates. I never applied for a card because I needed it. Goal was to have relationship with every major lender. For future options. Mission complete.

Well i could not find it on their homepage so i goggle application status for FNBO.

found it as you said. Put in a little information and got the results. better than nothing i guess. will post below. Also did the home work on the rewards for KDM. yes it is just like the Quicksilver. 1.5% on all purchases all the time. No annual fee.

the limit is posted below. When they say initial credit line does it mean there is possibly more?

2k and will grow with SP CLI every x amount of time. Also another lender you got in with which is a good thing in my books.. Would love to have FNBO as well. Yet to be courted by them
