State Farm Visa Approved

Called in to check the status of my State Farm Visa app was told I was declined, Called recon waited forever to get through. The rep told me my app was declined do to a low internal score, asked to speak to a manager, wasnt available. Manager called back an hour later and approved the app for $4,000. Low credit line, but state farm is known for starting off artificially low and giving huge increases after the first year. I will use it for my state farm insurance bill every month just to get the 3x points and see where it goes after a year.

Nice! I was looking at this card a while back but they discontinued "Fix Pay" which was an awesome feature of their card. You could take a balance and transfer it to a lower apr for a fixed term for repayment...bummer they dont have it anymore.

Congrats on the approval! State Farm is a hard catch, they have a killer UW process. I got my mortgage through State Farm Bank a year ago and it was a wild adventure, I still wake up in cold sweats after having nightmares about talking to UW.
