Approved for Chase Sapphire Preferred!

I'm super excited!

Applied on Friday 4/22 with 7-10 day online message & 2 week phone message.

Called robolady & got notice of approval!

2 Questions:

1. Is it possible to call and recon the SL?

2. I'm interested in applying for the Freedom Unlimited but wanted to go for the CSP first, just in case. With the CSP I'm at 4/24. What do you all think? Is it too soon? Should I wait 3, 6, 12 months? I'm not so concerned about inquiries, but am concerned about not getting approved. I don't want to try it unless I'm pretty sure I'll get it.

Exp 779, TU 704, Eq 721 (the last two have not updated my drop in utilization due to $20k in payments, so I expect they will see 50+ points very soon).

Super congrats! I would try for it. I want to trade my Amazon Visa for it. I'm waiting to app for CSP. That 5/24 is taking a long time!

Thanks! No updates on the Freedom Unlimited yet, but got the dreaded 7-10 day phone message. if it comes back as a hard denial, I'll recon. Hope that will help it go through.

Interesting.

I bit the bate for a CSP on Saturday, got 7-10. called to recon, they approved, asked me if I wanted instant I could move some credit from my other chase cards. If I wanted new limit it had to go to review. Greedy, here I'm waiting.

woundering if I should call again, or call corporate...
