Applied for BoA Better Balance Rewards last month and was instant approved for $2000. Saw some threads of multiples and decided to see if I could get lucky. Applied same day. Got a call yesterday to call in. They wanted to confirm that I wanted a second and got the approval for $1000.

Easy $240 a year as I had opened a savings account for the money to auto go into the account for the $5 bonus and also for my Cash Rewards deposits. One will get Hulu, the other will get $10.00 of cell phone payment. Thanks again, BoA!

Not to be a downer here, it seems you've opened several accounts in a month or two or so? Arrival, Marvel, Amazon, two BBRs....I'd consider sitting on the sidelines for awhile. You don't want to see AA.

I'm saying this from a place of trying to remind you, not lecture you. Congrats on the BBRs though -- while I am not interested in them, they're easy money. My problem with BBR is that the small bill I'd end up placing on it needs to be put elsewhere to keep other accounts active. I just don't have the swipes/spend to keep too many cards active. That's an individiual situation though of course.

No problem...I always welcome your opinions and views. I took the single HP last month and have/will be in the garden through the rest of the year at the least. I will be on the side with others and will for sure stay low. Glad to not have balances reporting to keep util always under 2%. I wanted to have two before they disappear. I know there was rumors and who know when that was going to happen.

I am not emotionally attached either like it seems others may be to their cards. If I lose them, I shall move on with head still high! I will play the credit game but won't let it play me.

NIce. I think i would like that card as well. But i just got my Cash rewards last month. Not sure if i could get the bbr as well. Congrats.

Congrats, OP! These are good cards.

If the cards in your siggy are the only ones you have I think you're building nicely. I opened several at once when I was building my portfolio. They are all aging nicely and I've continued to add several at a time over the years with no negative repercussions from lenders. That's how I chose to build and it worked well for me.

Bravo on the low UTL too!
