Got approved for my 2nd Venture on a cold app.

CL $5,000 with 23.24% APR

My 1st Venture has a CL of $28,000 and 13.24%.

Looks like I'll be doing an account combo in 6 months!

After that app, I quickly app'ed for a 2nd QS but was denied. I guess I've hit my Cap 1 limit!

I'm surprised they came back with the highest APR, when they gave you a lower APR on your 1st Venture. Are you carrying a balance on your present Venture?

If you're not, I might give them a call and ask them why they increased your APR so much. Doesn't make sense.

My 1st Venture has a balance on it. Just over $4K. I was surprised with both the low CL and high APR!

Congrats.. I think Cap1 is starting to tighten up their belt on the dual approvals and huge limits as seeing less of them lately.

I got an electronic letter from Cap1 listing why I was rejected for a QS after being approved for my 2nd Venture.

It sounds like they do not want two applications pending at once or close together. That's interesting. I applied for a QS and Venture back-to-back. Perhaps too many people did that then combined accounts? Mine was almost a year ago.
