Amex Hilton & JPMorgan Ritz Approvals!

I kept getting those awfully tempting offers from Amex & Hilton for the HHonors Surpass card with the 100k point sign-up bonus, so I finally gave in. Just got the approval back, woohoo! Though it's only a $9,500 initial CL, I'll gladly take it knowing it'll be higher in no time thanks to the amazing people that are Amex. Hilton just bumped me to Diamond HHonors elite status through 2018, so the 100k points will be a nice complement to that! I'm excited!

I also apped for the JPMorgan Ritz-Carlton card about 3.5 weeks ago and FINALLY got approved a few days ago. I got a nice (albeit random) inital CL of $17,400. Chase has been very generous with me in the last couple months despite that they won't give me a CSP (thanks, 5/24), but I'm very happy with them as well!

The recent bumps in available credit have already gotten my credit scores up about 10 points on EX in less than a month, so I'm excited to see when a couple more new accounts hit, my util will go down again and I'm hoping it'll level my score out from the hit of new accounts or maybe even help it a bit. I'm shooting for 750 across the board by the end of the year Very happy and couldn't do it without these forums. Weeee!

I now have IHG Platinum Ambassador status, Hilton Diamond, Marriott Gold, and SPG Gold all thanks to CCs and these forums. I LOVE IT

I wish it were only a matter of me waiting a few months more like 2 years for me lol unless they get rid of the 5/24 rule or start making exceptions for it. So silly. It's fine though, if I REALLY REALLY wanted to I could PC Freedom to CSP but I don't think it's worth it. I have more than enough awesome CCs to hold me over for a while. I'm sure I'll eventually have to start closing some to avoid getting "too much available credit" responses but I'm not too worried about that yet
