Blispay Approved

Please don't judge me - OK, I know by posting I'm inviting a certain amount of 'judgement' but please don't be too harsh...

I came out of the garden a couple of days ago with my BoA and Citi apps (still waiting on Citi...) and I figured I might as well take a shot at the other card I've been looking at... Blispay.

For me the value is in the six-month financing; I have other cards with nearly the same cash rewards (although the 2% is certainly not bad). Now if (when) I need tires I won't have to worry about trying to find a way to use promotional financing with my Sam's Club MasterCard.

I did have to call, but after verifying my address and two accounts on my credit reports, I was approved for a $7500 credit line.

I know it's not the highest SL around, but for me I feel it's very generous, and it's more than sufficient.

Finally, I'll add that the anxiety of apping is quite nerve-wracking for me, and that alone is enough to encourage me to stay in the garden...

(I have one more to consider if my nerves can take it... LOL)

Note: the CSR who assisted me was very nice, and after taking my info and telling me I was approved she offered to answer any questions I might have about the product, which was a very nice touch as well. I will say that the hold seemed to last for-ev-er, but it really was only the 1-2 minutes she said it would be... LOL.

Congrats! Good limit for card.. Obviously your Exp is in the 720-780ish range as income isnt considered by them and see very tiered approval amount based on scores it appears.. Pretty much can tell what CL a person is going to get based on the Exp Score . Lets hope it is hidden

I'm hoping it remains hidden as well... that will truly be the 'icing on the cake'!

I'm still not certain about my EX... Amex still hasn't updated <sigh>, and I'm too cheap to pay for a score (LOL). I figure as long as it doesn't hold me back I'm not going to worry too much about it, and I'll know soon enough. I'm still hopeful for Citi... that was my first app of the three (BoA and Blispay), and I know they have already double-pulled EX and EQ.

I'm still amazed at the simple application! If only they were all that quick and easy... LOL!

Congratulations, UncleB. Shhhh, don't tell anyone, but I applied in early Aprill and was approved for the same amount. I was attracted to the card for the same reasons you stated. I had and IRS bill that I wanted to pay over time with no interest and Bispay fit the bill perfectly! Plus the cash back meant I actually paid less!

I had one more app early last month that was approved then I hit the garden hard for a year or more....probably more...so big congratulations!

It would be awesome if the cl was hidden!

I know some folks see it as a 'flavor of the month' (and it might be...) but I see true value in it, just as you do.

I have been thinking about this one for a few weeks now, and I figured I needed to put an end to the 'paralysis by analysis'... LOL!

Just wanted you to know I applied for the same card for the same reasons. It may have been the "flavor of the month," but it was a perfect fit for my portfolio. And yours, too!

I was actually concerned about inquiries as well, especially since I added two more just a couple of days ago. I likely only 'squeaked' by in that regard... this will actually make inquiry #6 on EX for me, so it's about time to get my gardening gloves back out...

I don't think Blispay is going anywhere, so when your inquiries/new accts. age a little while you'll likely have no problem getting it next time!

Congrats big B! No need to explain it to me. This is not a flavor of the month for those of us who see great uses for it. It is my favorite card now. lol

The power bill, auto insurance bill and tag/tax bill on my four vehicles will all go on the Blispay. By my calculations that's around $200 cash back a year using my Rewards Checking account with it. I'll take it!! lol

This card is all about saving money, not just spending it.

LOL... one of my weaknesses is over-thinking stuff at times... I'm trying to do better, though!

You're not taking away from anything... I'm actually thrilled to know there are others who have an opinion similar to my own! Like you, I think this is a perfect fit (for me), and it's yet another reason I'm so glad to be a part of this community (I would never have heard about it otherwise).

If only all the "FOTM" cards were this useful!

I feel exactly the same way... in my case, as great as the rewards are (this is my only 2% general spend card) I'm especially excited about the promo financing.

There are times when having a few months to take care of something is a life-saver!

Good call when I get card going to put remaing part of my IRS on the card and pay it over two or three months.. Never thought of that
