Amazon visa approval

applied for it few days ago and just got an email saying I've been approved for a credit line of 7500. I also applied for a CSP and was declined for the 5/24. So guess the off brand chase card doesn't count the 5/24

That's right. The co-branded card doesn't have the 5/24 rule. Congratulations!

Rott ... When did you apply. I applied yesterday Tuesday... and I get the recording still in reviewing yada yada. I feel like a stalkier.

So I am trying to get an idea of how I can space out my stalking the phone line..lol.

PS to the 5/24 question .. its maximum of 5 Chase cards in 24 months.

From what others are saying the cobranded ie Amazon Chase Visa this would not count twards the 5.

PS Congratulations. Im still waiting with baited breathe for their decision on me.

If you're applying for a co-branded Chase card ie. Amazon Visa that rule doesn't apply for that particular card.

I applied supposedly on 5-10 but I'm not sure cause I've been applying for so many cards this past 2 weeks I go on an app spree every 6 months. I'm still rebuilding my credit. Also the 5/24 isn't 5 chase card. It's u can't have 5 new credit card within the last 24 months cuz I don't have 5 new chase card in last 24 months I only have 1 but I hav way more then 5 new credit account in 24 months

Yea current credit score is 680-698 income of 240k for 2015 but I put 180k income cause 60k was a year end bonus. I have about 130k in CL prior to this approval. Before this one I got about 60k with synchrony (6 cards) I have about 40k with capital one (4 cards) have 8400 with chase (1 card)have 30k with Amex 2 cards( 7 weeks old) discover won't even give me a card with a 500 limit (applied got denial cause too many recent accounts and I called and ask can they please give me an account even if limit is low lol and they said no to try again in 30 days also have 3 car loans one is 14k (19400) one is 92k (96k) one is 59k (just got this) that's pretty much everything on my credit report. Thanks for the congrats guys. After being on this site I learned more about credit than I know before and got higher and more limits now then before.

Yeah I know I typed that wrong about the 5/24 ... I meant new cards but if we apply for their certain cards.

Im hoping it is just a rumor on their cobrands... Such a shame that the credit crunchers ruined this for all.

I did just get an alert that they just pulled a 2nd report from Trans - the first one thay pulled from Experian.

I kind of hoped they had pulled from Equifax.

That means I am not out of the game yet.

not to add to your frustration, BellaLina, but I kept getting the '2 weeks message for decision' through their automated system for 22 days when I received an email letting me know I was approved

Tigers09, I still have not heard anything from Amazon Chase Visa yet...... yes its nerve racking. Especially since they pulled a 2nd report.

It is what it is ... I will go watch paint dry. LOL.
