Can you guys tell me how AMEX operates with CLI and other things that they like and don't like. I have never been in with AMEX til now.

Search for the amex 3x cli guide. I'd post but I'm on mobile/am lazy. Basically 61 days after account opening you can request 3x your current limit. I'm one statement into my bce so I can't answer what they do/don't like.

Hi, I've looked at that "definitivte guide"... lots of good stuff in there but never found confirmation on whether 61 days starts from date of approval or activation. I hear people say activation but there is also the situations where they give you the card number on the spot... I guess one could just be safe and do 61 days from the date they activated the card.. but I was curious if there is a definitine answer on that.

Pulled Experian..Score was 715....No baddies...

Congratulations on the approval, use the card, does not have to be heavy use though. I ran about 1k to 1.5k a month for the first three months. American Express likes PIF I tried at time of activation (last June) was denied not enough history with account at 91 days tried again approve 3X CLI (6.5k to 19.5K) and six months later increase to 25K.
