BoA Cash Rewards 2-part CLI to $7,400

Received a 2-part CLI on my BoA Cash Rewards card after requesting it and following CC's excellent example. (Thank you, CC!) I've been ignoring this card because I have many other cards with better rewards, but noticed CC's post and gave it a try.

Hit the button online and card went to $5,500 on the first try. Hit it a 2nd time a few seconds later and card went to $7,400 CL, with a $2,300 cash limit.

I believe this only resulted in one HP as it did with CC, but am not entirely sure at this point.

I'm not a fan of BoA, but glad the card went up a bit. Most of my cards are between 12k-20k per card so I really have not paid much attention to this card, especially since I have better rewards cards with much higher limits.

I've used it monthly for about $5-$15 per month at most and paid in full each month. Card is about 10 months old.

Not happy about the HP but glad the card went up.

Congrats! Glad you got a two for one HP CLI.. Funny same CLI's as well although you have a higher cash line. It will be one HP against TU. My button also disappeared today, but happy with a 6400 CLI for 1 TU pull and continue to grow my relationship with BofA.. I have no doubt yourself or me if wanted can have this card at 20k within the next 6-9 months. Glad my CLI got you to take a chance... 1k wasn't useable really, but 7.4k I am more inclined to use it especially at costco after my Freedom is off 5% for a 2% CB card.

I was thinking the same thing about the cash line - hard to say how they decide anything. I'm not sure that BoA decisions always make sense.

Definitely a more useable limit. This card was going to be axed if it stayed at a low limit much longer.

Ahhh, y'all are tempting me so badly... and I just got my Silver Spade...

Here's a question... I have the CLI button available on all 3 of my BofA cards. Would hitting the button multiple times on each card still only be 1 pull, or would it be 3 pulls?

I will let someone with more knowledge answer this .. Only a handful of threads about multiple increases. Haven't found one with your scenario.. Maybe someone else can ring in with more soud advise than I or OP can give you. Always can be a GP for the forum though

It will be one credit pull.

I did it once a while ago on all my 3 cards in a gap of few minutes and it resulted in one pull on TU.
