Sportmans Guide Visa Approval via soft pull

Just got the pre-approval offer screen pop up and accepted via checkout. I had added the Membership and one item to my cart and went to checkout and got an immediate pop up with the offer. No idea what the CL is. You enter the last 4 of your ssn and that's it.

JCREW worked as well. Didn't accept but went through the entire checkout process an it pops immediately upon entering the billing screen.

Just a FYI: The sportsman Guide even though just the last 4 of your SSN could yield a HP.. It could go either way. You will find out soon enough. Enjoy the cards though

Shopping cart trick for Virgin doesnt seem to work.. I registered and tried booking some flights without any pop up or offer?

Most SCT for Visa or M/c are usually a hard pull now. There are some people who say they recently had a soft pull, but don't be upset when it's a hard pull, as that's what I have been seeing more of lately.

Not a biggie if they do a hard pull but sure will be nice if it's only a SP! I'm curious to see what the CL is on the SG card when it comes.

With the requisite patience you can wait for the card to come (I have yet to find anyone on this board with the patience, including myself) or call in and ask. SV is the only SCT card I have ever gotten and I was given a $7k SL which is now $14k. The best time to buy, as an ammo buyer, is when they have a free shipping offer. Also nice as they have a lot of ammo which is always sold out locally. Enjoy the card.

That's great to know Ignatious. I have no idea what my SL is at this point but i'll be good with a 7k or so..
