I know I shouldn't have but I have a work trip coming up in September and I know I am going to need a laptop. I really want to go with a Mac since that is what I use at home and familiar with so I was going to use my best buy card since it always offers 0% but I really didn't want to add to my Util so I googled and I hope I did not go wrong here but paypal credit apparently does HP but its a hidden tradeline. Well just applied right now (intend on buying from ebay) and

got approved for $4550!!

WAY more than I needed but it's nice to have this just in case and not show up on my report for now.

I agree the hidden tradeline comes in quite handy for those must have purchases without having to take a hit on util.

Yeah plus I just realized depending on the amount, it will give me an extra 12 months to pay for it. While theoretically I can afford it out right, why tie up my money lol

I applied and it said "We cannot approve you at this time, please go back and verify your information" Is that just a normal decline?

Congrats! I am still relatively new to this and didn't even know Paypal credit is a hidden tradeline.

Yes some people complain about that bcuz they are building credit but for me that single thing was the appeal, i didnt want my Util to go up and i got 6 months no interest no payments. worked out great

It sounds like your information is not matching the credit bureau.
