Last year i had 3 Chase Credit Cards, a Freedom, an Amazon and a AARP and one day i got very upset with Chase because i kept getting Declined everytime i requested a CLI so i closed all 3 Credit Cards, That was a Big Mistake!, then last week i decided to apply for a Chase credit card again but i read their rules and they say that if i apply for a Freedom or an AARP again in LESS than 24 Months then i would NOT get the Sign Up Bonus, $150 the Freedom and $100 the AARP, So i decided to apply for the Chase Amazon instead and they said that my application needs further review, i honestly thought i was going to be Declined because Chase checked my Equifax and i have 42 Hard Inquiries on my Equifax and today i received an email saying Congratulations!, you were approved a Chase Amazon Visa Signature but when i saw the Starting Credit Line is only $2,000 NOT the $5,000 minimum you would expect for a Visa Signature, they also gave me a $50 Amazon GiftCard, So there you have it, i was approved a Chase Visa ...........as soon as i get the Card i'm going to request a CLI and We'll see! ..... https://creditcards.chase.com/credit-cards/rewards?CELL=6TKX&jp_ltg=chsecate_rewards

Congratulations on your Amazon card. Just a tip, in case you don't know, there are internal "rules" that probably kept you from getting those CLI's. Sometimes patience is the key. In any case, looks like you are back in! Yay!

seems that the best thing to do if you want a Chase CLI is actually just open another card, wait 6 months, then combine the new card's limit into the card you wanted a CLI on.

I feel like closing my Discover. Never a CLI since 2008...SL $500. LOL..I've tried all kinds of things.

I keep it for AAoA.

I put an auto $15 monthly charge on it to keep it active and that's it.

Congrats! Not really sure I'd recommend the Chase Amazon to anyone but glad you're back in with Chase!
