Unify (Western Federal Credit Union) APPROVED!!!

Just want to share my approval with Unify. I apped with their Engage Rewards Credit Card about a week and half ago but didn't get any instant approval or denial. A week later received in the mail a letter stating that they are counter offering my request of $15K and offered me $5K for the credit card. Their customer service is great and very helpful. Went to their closest branch, signed up some documents and opened a savings account. Fast and no hassle. Approved $5K with 15.24% APR. Requested for $10K before I signed the documents but their UW mentioned to have history first before they can give CLIs. Just didn't expect I got approved with them. They pulled my EX at 664 but they have a different score compared to MyFico EX which is 687. I have 17 Ex inqs at time of app. with lots of new accounts opened in the past 8-10 months. I guess they are not inquiry sensitive. I kinda liking this credit union

Congratulations! I'm also a member. I will be pulling the trigger some time next year. I'm salivating over their insanely low apr card of 4.99% apr. 😜

Thank you baller . I will app for their other credit card maybe next year, just have to age my card with them first . They have great APR cards

LOVVVVE UNIFY!!!!! do they still require POI Proof of income ?? Did they ask you? They did for me with every CLI but this was a year ago nearly, overall i love them!!!!

Congrats on your approval. I too have been eyeballing these guys and their low apr cards. I plan on apping around this time next year. Was it a hp for membership and if so which CRA? Thanks

I like them already! They asked for my paystub and when I asked to raise my SL they requested my W2.

Thank you iblitz ... They have great APRs for their credit cards. I just apped for their credit card right away without applying for membership. When I received the counter offer letter they asked me to go to a branch to sign the douments if I accept the counter offer. When I signed the loan documents they asked me to open a saving account . I got the HP on my EX report 2 days after my credit card app. Only 1 HP for CC and oepning the savings account.

I apped NASA before but the denied me due to too many inqs like about I think 11 EX inqs at that time, but Unify approved me with 17 EX inqs!. Unify to me is a better choice since I am really close to their branches not like NASA that I di not know if they have branches in my area. I am glad that I have an account with Unify and they are very easy to work with so far in my opinion
