After a long break I got sucked into reading the approvals and decided to go for the gusto. 6 of 6 apps approved as follows

Chase slate 1000 (good thing I apped them 1st) Prequalified on their site

NFCU 5000 Invite in mail

Discover it 2400 Prequalified on their site

overstock (sct) 1500

Wayfair (sct) 1500

Walmart 800 cold app

Done for now. Scores before apps were in the 650's. New fico scores took a lil dip and AAOA took a hit but since I have all I need I'm good for at least a few years.

I was up late and bored. I really wasn't intending to app for overstock or wayfair but the sct sucked me in and poof, I couldn't resist.

I can relate. I got sucked in to Overstock and Sportsman's Guide last year.

That SCT can be a black hole sometimes. Glad you didn't allow yourself to get sucked in all of the way

Congrats. You being under 5/24 was nice... so many of us would have grabbed one of Chase's lovely travel cards every other month for 10 months. (CSR maybe to start).

Yes, time to garden. I would do 0 for at least 6 months (9-12 even better).

I have a question, Navy was it in snail mail or email that you go the invite. I got an email offer but I'm in the garden... just curious. I didn't know they mailed out things also.

The offer was a post card sent by snail mail. Sometimes I get letter invites but this was a post card. I rarely ever check their site.
