Oh, and I have had the Freedom since January 2012 for 1K limit.

I second Lexie's question. Congrats on the approval but I'm not seeing the benefit of getting the slate if you had no intention to use it for BT. I'm hoping that other members take note before apping without thinking.

Chase has their own internal scoring system and I have a good relationship with them in regards to my Freedom.

I I soley am using this for the 15 months no interest.

inquiries are just one of the many things lender look at, and remember, it's not a big part of your scoring.

some people are able to get away with having lots of inquiries through other aspects, such as a long flawless credit history, etc.

Anyhow, since you already gotten it and can at least somehow make use of the card, it's worthwhile at the very least.

You have a point. However with 33 inqs and approvals at lower limits - it is time to garden (like you pointed out) and increase the cli's on the cards you have.

I'm on mobile so I can't see your siggy -are the remaining cls in the $1000 range?

Dumb question, sorry for looking stupid: do inqs fall off of your report literally (like go away?) Or are they always on there and just don't affect your credit after two years?
