I went on an APP spree and this is 1 of 8 cards I applied for and was approved for all in one day. Will be posting the other 7 later. But creditsesame had me as "VERY GOOD" for this card so tried it and got the 7-10 business days message. I expected that because I had credit fraud alerts on my account. I called the recon# and talked to a specialist. Asked me to verify my identity by asking me some questions from my credit report. They did a single pull from my Transunion report. I have all on time payments, no baddies and this made the 3rd inquiry on my Transunion report. So took about 10 minutes and then approved for the $6,500.

Three days later I got my card in a fancy purple box and put my 1st charge on it this weekend. Was easy to set up online and on the APP. Someone implied that this may not be a true fact so I am providing the pictures here for proof. As they say, "Pictures are worth a thousand words". So hopefully this puts the naysayers to rest and gives someone hope who may be interested in applying for their own Discover It card. Good luck with your financial future!

Thanks a lot! I did not have a pre qual with them...this was just me doing a cold app since I had reached excellent status on my credit and I only had 2 inquiries with Transunion and none on Equifax or Experion..So I figured I had a pretty good chance of approval and CreditSesame and CreditKarma had also felt the same (But from feedback on here they say you cant always depend on that)...I just got lucky though...so I decided to go on a credit card app spree...and apply for 8 different credit cards and was approved for them all...Discover It happened to be the 1st one of the 8 that I applied at so the process was pretty simple and approval was instant almost after calling in.

Mind posting scores and again, great job !

I'm at 761 on TU, 653-EQ, 717 on EX, 2 new cards, Care Credit at $9,600.00 , QS1 at $2,000.00 and one very old one (Comeity Bank ) at $300.00. Showing at judgement oN EQ not pd, but I've pd it ( 8k) .
No other baddies but really thinking that by EQ not updating the PR to "satisfied " would make Disco reject me at this time !

Starting:Transunion 794 Equifax 764 Experian 741
After Spree:Transunion 762 Equifax 754 Experian 719

Those above scores were the original scores when I started my spree because Discover It card was the 1st one I applied for on my 8 card spree.

Congrats on paying off that judgement (8K) that's a huge accomplishment!!

If I was you I would call that creditor and see if they would consider in good faith taking it off your credit report totally since you did pay it off already, they might.

As far as Equifax I seriously would call them to find out when they plan on updating your credit report. I would do this like every 2-3 days to make sure they are aware of it. Its not an urgent matter for them but it is something that matters to you.

Your scores are so close to where the threshold is I would not take a chance on a hard inquiry though if I was you. I know it's hard to be patient but it will all be worth it in the long run. I would wait until this pan out for you. At the most it will take them 1-1/2 months to update the information and then it will look better for you. At that time I would then call to Discover It so you can explain your situation to them and you might have a much better chance of them overlooking it despite your score since again you did pay them off.

My OC was BoA, so idk ??

I've thought about sending them a letter because it is due to fall in December of '17 AND...there is no other gain they have in continuing to report ! I paid the original amount plus all the interest as well, everything!

I have been 4+ weeks trying to get a hard copy of my EQ report, still haven't gotten yet! I was able to dispute this line via CK and it is still pending. EQ just still seems to be holding me down, back...etc !

As all can see, my other scores are up in the 700's and I'd like to join in with Dico but they pull EQ in my state .

Again...a big congrats on your hit with them, hope to be there , soon !

Ive noticed that part of MimiRoss's reasoning for doing many separate post, rightly or wrongly, was so that individuals could see an individual card and perhaps see a data point that could help them . As evidenced above, this single post is helping certain members with their goal of obtaining said card so obviously her reasoning was achieved. .

Im sure he/she has learned the best way to post multiple approvals so that its more concise but i for one am impressed on his/her journey so far.

Verify my identity (credit report). Verify my address (sent Drivers License). They also sent me a text to my phone. 20 min later approved.
Citi Double Cash Card	Equifax	762	$5,000	Braselton	GA	30517	2016-10-07	Got the "7-10 days we will get back with you". Instead of waiting I called the recon # and talked to a specialist. Asked me to verify my identity by asking me some questions from my credit report.
Barclaycard CashForward World MasterCard	TransUnion	794	$5,000	Braselton	GA	30517	2016-10-07	I did this application over the phone since I have already been with Barclays Apple Rewards since 2014 so the process was really simple. Even though I been with them for 2 years already they still did a HP
Amex Blue Cash Everyday	Experian	762	$8,000	Braselton	GA	30517	2016-10-07	I called the recon # and talked to a specialist. Asked me to verify my identity (questions from report & called my cell) and my income. 20 minutes later approved. Expediting my card to me (2 days)

The last couple of weeks....I've seen some of the rudest and most disrespectful comments on this site.

Im not talking about disagreements, which I think are healthy and how we grow, but just blatant rude comments. The most disturbing part, they are mainly going unaddressed. It reminds me of another site whose members I've had to "check" on occassion in defense of MyFico forum. But I can't defend this and that saddens me.

Thanks for your compliment...it really means a lot to me...I felt some people didnt seem to understand me...I just wanted things nice and neat, separate for reference purposes and also so all the comments could be followed and make sense...I have decided to post them every other day in order to get them all logged...but so not to violate any forum rules or step on anyone toes on the way they like things to be...Have a blessed day!
