PayPal Extras Mastercard/GE Capital - Electronic or Return service requested?

Will the PayPal Extras Mastercard be forwarded to my PO Box?

Hello,

I was approved for a PayPal Extras MasterCard on December 4th and received an e-mail that the card is on it's way.

When I applied for the card I used my residential address which is correct however, we got together with a few neighbors and purchased a small cluster mailbox for added security. While it is being installed all of our mail has been forwarded to our PO Box address.

Has anyone else applied and/or received this card? I would like to know because it usually says on the front of the envelope whether they use electronic or return service requests. Some financial institutions do and some do not.

(A couple of days ago I did receive a letter from GE Capital at the PO Box explaining how my limit was determined but it didn't say what type of delivery service was requested. Also, GE's CareCredit card that I got a few months ago says electronic service requested on the envelope).

It's getting close to the 7-10 business day estimate while taking the holidays into consideration so I'm getting worried.

i'd give it a few more days before you start to worry...it's the holidays and mail will be hindered...and remember the 7-10 days is business days...if still no cc i would call paypal...in fact, i'd call and ask if it's been shipped out yet

Credit Cards do not get forwarded... I would call them up and check, good chance it's been returned and you will have to try to update address and resend... sometimes hard when you first get approved to then ask for it to be changed, especially to a po box.

Call them up since this may put a hold on the account until they can verify the address discrepancy (in the event it gets returned to sender).

Hello,

I wanted to thank everyone for all the replies.

I've been leaning towards the card being returned and am very anxious to speak to GE when they open tomorrow for clarification on this. They kind of threw me off by forwarding their CareCredit credit card to our PO Box a few months ago however, it's not exactly a Visa or MasterCard.

Temporarily re-installing our somewhat trustworthy residential box next to the cluster set that's taking forever. Construction is such a headache.
