So took DGF off as an AU on a couple of my cards that are now carrying some low APR promo balance short term. Had a feeling it was holding her scores down 10 to 15 points and sure enough as soon as those accounts came off (1st to update was TU) her score jumped 10 to 15 and TU finally crossed the 660 mark and went to 662. She saw some nice jumps on her Sync stuff last month when she got into the 650's but I wanted to see if that jump into the 660 would again make a difference and sure enough it did. Good data point for those trying to grow their accounts with Sync while rebuilding. She also got approved for Lowe's last month as well but they would not budge on SL of 300 citing negs on her report etc. She's been wanting CareCredit as well so we apped that and instant approval for 2k but when the welcome email came the next morning it was actually an approval for 5k. Her parents both need some dental work done so I told them about CareCredit and they both applied mom got 7k and dad got 10.7k. Interesting thing is dad is in his last year of an open CH13 (Yes he has trusty permission to seek new credit 5k or under. We asked for 5 and they gave 10.7k). DGF also got an approval last week for an Amex Business Gold Rewards with her EX at 651 (almost as shocking as her personal Platinum approval when she was 630ish).

Lowes 300 -> 5k

PP SmartConnect 800 -. 2.6k

Walmart 3k -> 5k

Nice congrats to her ! I am waiting to cross that threshold myself bf I take the leap at some of the better companies Amex and Discover . I have only stared building this year so im letting my accts age some bf I try , I have tried Synch in the past and they deny me everytime . But I was barely over 600 then.

Very nice approvals. Now seems a great time to get a Care Credit account as they seem to be releasing the mc version. Were yours regular or mc?
