Discover $51,500 ! (Update: $54,500)

This was kinda strange. I request a Discover CLI every month, and my last increase was $3000 and it took 3 months after the previous request to get that much (to $45,500).

So now a month later I request a CLI and get the message about your request will be reviewed, yadda yadda.

I remembered I had made the request a couple days ago, so I just now checked. they gave me a $6000 increase, bringing my limit to $51,500 !

No income verification or anything. My Discover FICO is 760. My income is $62629

Just out of curiosity, what's the average monthly spend amount do you put on the card? Do you carry a balance or always PIF?

This is great to see. You would think that you would need a much higher spending pattern with that kind of limit in order to still get a cli.

I am finally looking forward to a mother load SP CLI from Discover myself since a recent TU 36 point FICO score skyrocket jump due to a dropped PR.

Congrats on your CLI!

FWIW, when I was still asking for CLI with Discover, I crossed over the $50k without IV, but the last 2 required some sort of employment verification (i.e., emailing a scanned copy of my paycheck stub, or call to my office, etc.). Incidentally, my last two CLI were in the $6000-$6500 range, too.

No, my credit limit is only $51,500. It has not reached my income level (yet).

So far I have not been asked for any verification of anything.
