@Anonymous next highest instant initial with Chase was last year for Hyatt VS @ $21K. I was surprised too with Freedom initial line.

I just don't understand why two credit bureaus. The theory here was that it's done when someone is borderline for approval/ denial. That is not my case.

Yeah. I have tried already since my account shows up online already but that I can't do until I receive and activate the card probably. I have already signed up for paperless statement delivery. Never before Chase did online account set up for me this fast. It usually was 2-3 days after approval.

I didn't get a limit like that when I app'd for Chase Freedom a couple of weeks ago. My income wouldn't justify it. But I got a nice CL and their lowest interest rate, and my credit is squeaky clean. Yet they also pulled two bureaus on me, so it's probably not a matter of being borderline, but just a matter of lenders being extra cautious these days. I'm hearing more and more about Chase doing double pulls.

They show the link for the next quarter cash back activation but what about this month ??? Does this mean I am too late for cash back 5% category for this year ???

When I got CSP a couple months ago, they only hp Exp.

I applied recently for the Freedom also and I was also double pulled EXP/TU. My scores were definitely not borderline, but my oldest tradeline is only 1 year 5 months old.
