Chase Freedom APPROVED!!!

So I've been working on rebuilding my credit for the last few years, and have periodically updated a thread in the rebuilding section with my journey. Prior to this, I had only received mailers from Cap1, or smaller bottom feeders that I have no interest in accepting (read: creditone, etc.).

Over the past month I have started receiving offers from Chase, with Pre-Qual on Slate, Freedom, FreedomU, and CSP. After reviewing them, I decided to pull the trigger on the 15 months 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers on the Freedom. Applied online on Saturday, and received the dreaded 7-15 days message. Calling the automated update number over the last few days has given me the 30 day message. This morning Chase called me to verify my identity, sent text message to my cell with a security number, and instantly approved for $2k.

Couple data points I think people will care about:
1. Chase pulled EX only.
2. I used a specific invitation code from the mailer. Otherwise I would have been denied under the 5/24 rule.
3. Total Util ~15%

CONGRATS ! I love using my chase freedom. The holgraphics on it just makes it more appealing when I use it for purchases

Very nice, congrats! The rotating categories are pretty good on that card, so who doesn't like 5% CB?

Congratulations , OP !

I too, was pre-equaled the Freedom and CSP but pulled the trigger on the Freedom .

I got the "7-10" message , waited for the denial but instead , got a letter to call in for verification .

Afterwards , I was approved for $3,000.00 SL , so, that 7-10 isn't always a denial !
