Amex Delta Gold & Us Bank Cash + Visa Sig

Applied and approved for Amex Delta Gold SCL $2,000 and Us Bank Cash Plus Visa Signature SCL $2,000 !

Super excited, any idea on how i can get these to grow and if there are good SCL. Can the be recon for a higher amount with a SP ?

US Bank is great with recons for denials. Almost everyone I know who sent in a letter to have it reconned was approved. Not sure on SL but I would try. GL and Congrats

Congrats! I got the Delta card back in April with only a 1k starting limit. 2k seems good. AmEx has the 3xCLI feature, in which you can request a limit 3x your limit every 6 months. Since you're new to AmEx, you can request this 60 days from your date of approval. I increased mine from 1k to 3k after 60 days, and my 6 months is coming up in a few weeks. Enjoy it! You can really grow the limit with AmEx.

My EQ just updated to 717!

Is the US bank one a hard one to get or more of a subprime one?

They are more conservative-def not sub prime. But they are great with recon if you don't get it. If you are 717 with no baddies you should be fine. GL.

This is a bogus statement. There is much more that goes into it than that. U.S. Bank is sensitive to time accounts have been established and inquiries as well.

I opened the Delta Amex in June with SL 1000k, Since then I have tried the 3x cli or any any bit of increase multiple times. I was denied due to credit score of 651. So I guess Im sitting that one out for a while.

It is not bogus USBank is more conservative than others
It is not bogus US Bank is not a sub prime lender
If you look at Credt Pulls Database it would not be a bogus statement to say if you have a 717 and no baddies you SHOULD be okay.
It's never bogus to say GL.

@needa926 - forgot to add.... I had over 40 INQ in 12 months and was approved and all my cards were less than 1 year old at the time of approval. (But I won't say your experience is bogus even though it is your experience and not a set rule apparently)

It is completely bogus to say a 717 score and no derogatory marks should mean an approval because it is more complex than that. The very fact that you admit US Bank is more conservative than others is even more evidence to support my statement. (Not that I need it since it's a fact.) Additionally, that database is useful only when taken with a grain of salt for exactly the reason I said - there's more to it than a score and clean file. Your experience is anecdotal as is mine.
