In with Chase Amazon Visa maiden voyage

Evening everyone, ive got some things going down credit wise and i hope to share fully soon. Ive decided to put my foot in the door with Chase so that perhaps if i can stick to my 2 year plan of true gardening,lol, i may have some great options available.

Even though i do have the Synchrony Prime store card, i am trying to diversify my portfolio and now that Chase's card is also 5% and a Visa siggy to boot( plus the card should be nice eye candy ) figured why not go for it now that im no longer sportin a bk black eye lol.

Originally had my Ex unfrozen but when i apped for it didnt hear anything but under review , 7 -10 days . Got letter today and well indeed was they tried to pull TU. So i unfroze that and gave them a call. Passed to lending asked a few questions and APPROVED!. Tricky little buggers though, did a double pull with my Ex too. Ahh well, nothing 2 years cant cure right?

Initial cl will be $1500 at like 22% but thats alrigjt, im creating my good habit of trying to pif anyway and honestly even if it stays at 1500, more than enough for this average joe.Hopefully more exciting news to follow stay tuned, this voyage is just begining lol

I actually forgot to add that nice little tidbit, $70 dollars is a nice gift haha, made sure to app on Amazon not through Chase site ( Chase site i believe is $50)

Appreciate it Gmood!. Its a sweet train to ride, no better way to have an alternative to my Sync account. No problems there but always good to diversify.

Have a feeling when you jump aboard you're gonna ride 1st class

Congrats AJC! I would love to get one of these in my arsenal for Amazon spending, but I'm put off by the initial limits. Most people seem to get $1,500 -$2,000, even with other large limits reporting. I would want at least 5K to replace my Amazon PLCC, because I do spend quite a bit on there every month.

i totally understand. I know many people are real big spenders on Amazon so they need more. I hear the good thing about Chase is you can move limits around so thats a plus. Nice to have the 0% financing with the store card so i now have all the bases covered
