Just got approved for Unify FCU Fixed Rate Platinum Visa with $10K starting limit and 9.99% fixed rate interest.

As I filled out the application it stated in red letters that I was pre-approved for $10k in unsecured credit so I only asked for that amount, not wanting to tempt fate, and having been granted a 15k PLOC by them just a few days ago.

I don't know yet if they used the same EX pull they used a few days ago for the line of credit and/or membership.

As before they indicated a need for proof of income so I emailed them my most recent paystub.

My understanding is that Unify uses FICO EX Auto 2, which in my case stood at 746 two weeks ago.

they pull regular fico 2 it isnt the auto fico 2 im told.

I got turned down by them for something about 5 months ago and the score they pulled appeared to be the FiCO Auto 2, not the FICO 2.

But I don't know.

Congratulations, SouthJamaica! Unify just took over my small, company-specific credit union. I've been curious about them. I can't apply for anything until my mortgage app is complete, but they are definitely one of my targets in the coming months.

Alright you encouraged me to apply and was surprised to get an immediate decision. $10k at 11.5% pending income verification. I've had just a standard checking and savings for about six months. Interestingly no indication of a hard pull anywhere yet.

My "approvals" for a PLOC and platinum card were about 50 days ago.

Haven't gotten a formal approval or a denial or anything, and no account appears on the website and no card has been received in the mail.

I'm assuming they have reneged on their approval.

So much for that.

I know the feeling. Was pre approved for $15k PLOC with them and they pulled the offer after grilling me about my credit report. Very unprofessional CU and wouldn't recommend them at all.

Sheesh, at least have the courtesy to say we decided on not approving and heres why. The only thing that should last 50 days is if your Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler courting

That's really odd, sorry for your experience! Have you called to see what happened? It's not only unprofessional, they're required to send a FCRA letter for the denial. (If that's what happened)

I had joined a few months ago with the intent of applying for one of their cards, but after reading too many threads about their kind of schizo behavior, I think I'm just going to close my accounts and be done with them.

Maybe I spoke too soon. This evening they emailed me that they want me to send another year's tax return and W2... so I guess it's still in the works.

I too have had chk and sav acct for lil over 6 mo and today I received a pre approved auto loan and a fixed rate unify visa for 5K at 12%.
